Fastest pickup trucks
Top 40 pickup trucks with highest top speed. Updated December 2025.
Pickup trucks are utility and work vehicles, and top speed is not first priority in these use cases. However, high performance pickup trucks are sizeable market in United States, and, if there are "hot hatches" and "hot sedans", why can't there be "hot" trucks also?
Truck bodies are not well suited for high speed due to large frontal area and abrupt airflow changes at the rear of the cab. There is also high compliance in suspension, which is not well suited for high speed safety.
Perhaps the biggest limiting factor is tyres - all offroad-worthy trucks come with tyres that have deep thread and poor suitability for high speed travel. So much so that truck manufacturers typically limit top speed electronically, to make sure these speeds are not exceeded.
